The Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness and School Counseling programs at NYU are hiring instructors for the Summer and Fall 2022 semesters. Must have work experience or have taught the following courses:

Summer Campus-Based Program:

  • APSY-GE 2684 Marriage, Couple & Family Counseling (7/28 - 8/17)
  • APSY-GE 2634 The Dynamics of Vocational Development (7/7-8/17)
  • APSY-GE 2682 Cross-Cultural Counseling (6/14-7/06)
  • APSY-GE 2812 Practicum in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness (5/23-8/17) - morning and afternoon options

Fall Campus-Based Program - September 1 to December 14

  • APSY-GE 2070 Research and Evaluation Methods in Behavioral Sciences
  • APSY-GE 2634 The Dynamics of Vocational Development
  • APSY-GE 2684 Marriage,Couple & Family Counseling

Qualifications

Interested candidates should have a PhD in Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, or Clinical Psychology.  Licensure (LMHC or LPC) required to teach practicum course.
