qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 499: Culture, Connections and the Future of Branding.  The impact Black culture has had on media, advertising and adjacent industries is undeniable. Whether the face of a campaign or the mind behind the magic, Black creativity and thought leadership has set the bar for what it means to brand successfully. This course will explore a variety of branding avenues through the lens of Hip-Hop and exclusive interviews with diverse professionals who are changing the face of the industry. Students will delve into current trends, emerging practices and the future of branding as it relates to social media, experiential marketing and brand partnerships.

Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field.  Previous teaching experience is desirable.  For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.  Applicants should have a primary career elsewhere.
