The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy invites applicants for an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Governance and Management. The successful candidate should possess a master’s degree in public administration from the Price School having graduated in the past five years and should have professional experience in a related field. This position serves as a cohort coach in the online program to provide training and development of essential academic skills including but not limited to critical thinking and digital literacy skills and other key methods for online education engagement. The coach will provide professional development sessions and facilitate engagement in the online MPA program between faculty and students. This position is not restricted geographically and can be filled by any candidate with broadband internet access. The position will report to the MPA online Faculty Coordinator and work with the Cohort Coach Lead

During the PPD 506 Public Administration Residency course, the cohort coach responsibilities include support of Lead Faculty by serving as section instructor, delivery of existing course content, providing feedback, scheduling office hours and being accessible to students as appropriate, and grading according to a syllabus provided by the Lead Faculty with oversight by the Department Chair.
