The position  

The Center for Quantum Devices, Niels Bohr Institute, is seeking two postdoctoral fellows to work on an experimental program to demonstrate non-abelian statistics and braiding in Majorana systems, based on two-dimensional epitaxial superconductor-semiconductor hybrid materials. Candidates should have a PhD in experimental physics and ideally experience in millikelvin cryogenics, RF and low-noise electronics, and device fabrication.

Terms of employment  

The postdoctoral fellowship is at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, with collaborative teams in Delft Technical University (NL), University of Sydney (AUS), Purdue University (USA), UC Santa Barbara (USA), and Microsoft, Redmond, Washington (USA). Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.  

The starting salary is 405k DKK plus additional pension contribution up to 69k DKK. Salary is negotiable.
