The Department of Arabic and Translation Studies at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL) conversation labs to begin in the Fall 2019 or thereafter. A master's degrees (MA) in TAFL and five or more years' experience in teaching Arabic is essential; candidates with a PhD in TAFL are preferred. Familiarity with and an ability to teach the Emirati dialect is preferred.
