Research Assistant II in the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 493934) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

 

Applicants should have a degree or above in public health, health psychology, social science, nursing, or other related disciplines. They should have a good command of English and Cantonese, good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, and a hard-working attitude. Experience in conducting qualitative interview and questionnaire-based survey, competence in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and good computer skills will be advantages.

 

The appointee will assist in research projects on public risk perception and behavioral health issues, such as antimicrobial resistance, influenza and climate change. He/She will monitor telephone interview, conduct face-to-face interview, pilot test the study instruments, perform data transcription, entry and analysis, and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
