The University of Florida College of Medicine –  Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a dynamic experienced applicant for a faculty position. Applicants should have a strong interest in clinical teaching, have an interest in developing a scholarly portfolio. Fellowship training in CV and/or Critical Care is necessary. Appointment at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. This is a full-time MD/DO, BC/BE faculty position on our Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Team. Primary responsibilities/duties will be to provide clinical anesthesiology and education across a wide variety of other sub-specialties with a particular focus on Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and TEE and Critical Care.

Primary responsibilities/duties will be to provide clinical anesthesiology and education across a wide variety of sub-specialties with a particular focus on Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and TEE and Critical Care. Services will be provided at multiple locations in both a personally performed and/or medical direction model. Faculty will also be responsible for the training of Anesthesiology and Non-Anesthesia residents, as well as SRNA, SAA, and medical students that rotate through our health system.

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 17 clinical science departments house more than 400 faculty members and 360 residents and fellows. The college offers 34 accredited graduate medical education programs. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville.
