The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. As an employee of USC, you will be a part of a world-class research university and a member of the "Trojan Family," which is comprised of the faculty, students and staff that make the university what it is.

The Department of Medical Education at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Chief Transformation and System Integration Officer (CTIO).  Faculty ranking will be commensurate to relevant experience.

USC Keck School of Medicine recognizes the opportunity to drive fundamental transformational change as a rapidly growing well-established medical school with greater demands from its faculty, staff, students, and communities. The basis for this transformation work will be the blueprint for how we operate, collaborate, and consistently reinvent ourselves to prepare for the future of healthcare, bioscience, and biomedical education. It will enable our school, departments, institutes, and centers to work together more easily and, when helpful, to reshape themselves. This will prepare our school for needed growth and development under a common vision rooted in purpose and values. It is our goal to create a Keck-wide agile and innovative ecosystem to advance the Keck community and drive positive broad change across an entire system.

The Chief Transformation and System Integration Officer (CTIO) will report directly to the Executive Vice Dean of the Keck School of Medicine and will be a member of the Dean’s cabinet.

The CTIO will lead the effort to drive cross-functional system integration, design architecture, and transformation through the evaluation and implementation of process improvements. These process improvements are expected to create more and better collaboration, communication, speed and efficiency, thus promoting alignment and achievement of our strategic priorities.  In addition the CTIO will provide oversight and assistance to the various culture transformation efforts across the school including activities such as building/maintaining momentum, creation of new initiatives, and tracking progress. Our goal is for the Keck School of Medicine to be a national model for a respectful, inclusive, innovative and professional work environment.
