The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine has 2 positions available for Board Certified/Board Eligible psychiatrists with fellowship training in psychosomatic medicine.  Candidates should be interested in pursuing an academic career and would be affiliated with the largest provider of hospital based psychiatric services in Connecticut.  The first position entails developing and staffing in- and outpatient consultative services to the Yale New Haven Health Cancer Center so experience working with this population is a benefit. The second position is for general consultation-liaison psychiatry and may include half days with specialized clinics at Yale New Haven Health such as the gender clinic, HIV clinic, etc.

The Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine is one of the top research and clinical centers in the United States. The Yale New Haven Health division is a major teaching and clinical research component of the Department of Psychiatry.   Positions carry a full-time faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry at the assistant or associate professor level depending upon the candidate.

 

Qualifications

Applicants must be a licensed physician, or eligible for licensure, in CT and must be legally employable.
