Faculty member duties and responsibilities will be to work as a family physician/geriatrician at The Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Department of Family Medicine and Community Health Family Medicine Residency Program sponsored by CentraState where they deliver state of the art high quality care through a team based approach. Services offered at the primary Federally Qualified Health Center teaching site include medical, dental, nutrition, mental health, social services, prenatal care, and podiatry.

COVID-19 Immunization Requirement |
Under Policy 60.1.35, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Prospective employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster within two weeks (14 calendar days) of eligibility. Based on current guidance, individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the final dose of any COVID-19 vaccine authorized or approved for use in the United States by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Eligibility for a booster against COVID-19 varies and is explained on the University’s web site located at https://coronavirus.rutgers.edu/covid-19-vaccine. Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a prospective employee’s offer of employment and/or disciplinary action up to and including termination. |

Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, CentraState Healthcare System, Freehold, New Jersey is seeking a family physician specializing in geriatrics medicine . Must be Board Certified faculty member with Doctorate of Medicine degree in an area of geriatrics to join its Family Medicine Residency Faculty at CentraState. Priority will be given to applicants who have demonstrated strong clinical and teaching skills within the Graduate Medical Education system. The Family Medicine Residency sponsored by CentraState is an ACGME accredited 6-6-6 program located in a newly opened Federally Qualified Health Center and a 284 bed community hospital. Faculty practice includes the full spectrum of Family Medicine with inpatient and outpatient setting and with a commitment to graduate medical education, community service, team building, evidence based medicine, leadership, research, and fulfilling administrative and teaching responsibilities. The program supports academic and professional growth with participation in scholarly activity including office based research. The Family Medicine Residency CentraState Practice is an NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home operating in a newly built facility featuring the latest technology to create the optimal teaching environment. All charting is done electronically, allowing the behaviorist to securely access patient medical records from remote locations. Located in Central Monmouth County a short drive to the Jersey Shore, CentraState Healthcare System has been an integral part of the attractive, culturally diverse, and thriving community of Freehold NJ, since 1971.
