The School of Health Sciences (SHS) at the University of Nottingham, one of the four Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation and for the allied health professions.

The School is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Midwifery to contribute to all teaching-related activities on undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programmes.  The post is available as a Research and Teaching (R&T) or a Teaching and Learning (T&L) position; applicants should state in their application form which position they wish to apply for.  The candidate must have significant teaching experience in midwifery and hold a Masters Degree in a relevant subject or PhD, and have current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The post will be based in Nottingham but you will be expected to travel to clinical placement areas as appropriate.

This role will be offered on a permanent and full-time contract, 36.25 hours per week. Job share arrangements may be considered.
