Title: Assistant Professor (WOT), Department of Pediatrics, Division of Bioethics & Palliative Care
The Division of Bioethics and Palliative Care, Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Washington is recruiting a full time Assistant Professor without tenure (commensurate with experience and qualifications) on the clinician-scholar track. This position would be multi-year appointments over a 12-month service period.
Responsibilities will include providing In-patient and outpatient palliative clinical services, as well as conducting palliative care research.
All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Anticipated start date is Winter 2021.
Applicants must have an MD (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
