Salary
£36914 to £49553 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The School of Health Sciences (SHS) at the University of Nottingham, one of the four Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation and for the allied health professions.

The School is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor to support the teaching and related activities in the undergraduate Sport Rehabilitation programme, and to engage in research related to sport, physical activity or rehabilitation. The focus for teaching will include nutrition, sport psychology, exercise rehabilitation and assessment. Candidates are invited to apply who have evidence of teaching in Higher Education settings, a Masters Degree is essential, or a PhD is desirable, in a relevant subject, and teaching interests in exercise rehabilitation and assessment, sport psychology and nutrition. The post holder will be engaged in research and will be supported to further develop their research profile.

This is a full time, permanent post. Open to part time a minimum of 80% FTE. Job share arrangements may be considered.
