Penn State Behrend invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in statistics at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2020. Applicants must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and research, and hold a Ph.D. in statistics, applied statistics, data science, or a related field at the time of appointment. Applicants must have at least 2 years of teaching experience and must demonstrate the ability and willingness to teach courses in support of our statistics minor, mathematics major, and data analytics programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level in multiple formats, including online. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research program in an area of statistics, with potential to mentor undergraduate research students. Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is an undergraduate and graduate college of The Pennsylvania State University.
