Overview

The Nathan M. Bisk College of Business at Florida Institute of Technology is seeking a unique academic scholar to join its team in transforming the delivery of business education.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly engaged faculty for an Adjunct Faculty position in Accounting.

The successful candidate must be academically qualified to teach foundational undergraduate accounting courses.


Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related field (required).
  • CPA designation (preferred).
  • Prior college-level teaching experience (preferred).
  • Professional accounting experience in public, corporate, governmental, or nonprofit accounting (desirable).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
  • Experience with learning management systems (preferred).

Appointment

This is a part-time, per-course appointment with teaching opportunities available throughout the academic year.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

Florida Tech’s 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes:

  • Crime statistics for the previous three years.
  • Crimes reported on campus.
  • Crimes reported in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech.
  • Crimes reported on public property adjacent to campus.

The statistics include reports received by:

  • Local law enforcement agencies.
  • Campus Security.
  • Other Campus Security Authorities.

The report also contains:

  • Campus safety and security policies.
  • Prevention and awareness programs.
  • University procedures.
  • Emergency guidance.
  • Additional campus safety information.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts for all collegiate coursework must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.

Applicants with international degrees must submit:

  • A course-by-course official evaluation.
  • An official English translation (if applicable).

These documents must be sent directly to the Human Resources Office from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
