The School of Economics at UNNC seeks two Assistant Professors in Economics to join a dynamic, research-driven department. The positions focus on Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, or Applied Econometrics, including topics like causal inference, machine learning, program evaluation, and data science.
The successful candidates will:
Lead research projects individually or collaboratively
Publish in top-ranked peer-reviewed journals
Develop and win support for research funding or consultancy projects
Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
Supervise MSc and PhD students
Contribute to curriculum development, student recruitment, and academic service
Ph.D. in Economics or closely related field completed by start date
At least 2 years of higher education teaching and research experience
Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
Ability to manage learning, research programs, and resources
Experience in delivering teaching within a quality framework
First Sino-foreign university in China offering UK-style education
Over 10,000 students

Salary RMB 450,190 – 592,815 per annum
