At the forefront of the School’s success in these fields has been its innovative approach to programme design, student support and pedagogical innovation, particularly in the field of clinical legal education. The School of Law has state-of-the-art facilities, including both a moot courtroom and an appellate moot courtroom to support its mooting programme.

The School of Law is committed to providing an innovative, enriching, student-centred learning environment. Our students study on programmes that are interdisciplinary in nature and undertake pioneering clinical placements with prestigious employers as an integral part of their education. Our sustained commitment to "law in action" ensures that students have access to opportunities through internships, research projects, intervarsity mooting and debating competitions, and engagement with external stakeholders.

Our teaching is research-driven and our pedagogical practices are designed to empower students as active and reflective learners. In addition to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the School of Law has a vibrant postgraduate research community with 31 postgraduate researchers and many postdoctoral researchers.

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Law to join our team. Candidates should have a primary law degree and a PhD in Law.
