About the Role
The School of Education and English seeks an ambitious, talented, and experienced academic with a passion for teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will contribute to:
- Teaching and curriculum development of preliminary-year linguistics and literature modules
- Teaching other modules within the undergraduate and postgraduate programs
- Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate taught (PGT) dissertations
About You
- Completed doctoral degree in Applied Linguistics or a closely related field
- Recent experience teaching across a range of undergraduate and MA modules
- Experience supervising undergraduate and PGT (Master’s) dissertations
- Knowledge and experience in teaching MA TESOL modules is highly desirable
- Appointment level and salary will be determined based on prior experience and academic rank

Remuneration, Benefits, and Support
- Fixed-term contract for up to 3 years, extendable by mutual agreement
- Salary range: RMB 353,847 – 482,256 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience; progression beyond this scale is performance-based
