Summary Description
The Department of Mathematics at Columbia University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of probability at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2020. All candidates should have an outstanding record in research and be committed to excellence in teaching. Duties include research, service, and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Women and underrepresented minority groups are particularly encouraged to apply.

Minimum Degree Required

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment. Candidates must have excellent scholarship and promise for future development. They should have completed successful graduate training and begun a career of independent professional accomplishment.

Research accomplishment in the field of probability and a proven track record of securing fellowship support.
