The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Must be fellowship trained in the field of facial plastic/reconstructive surgery and board certified or board eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include medical student, resident and fellow education as well as formal lecture opportunities.
Clinical responsibilities may include the medical and surgical treatment of facial cosmetic and reconstructive cases, including post-MOHS facial reconstruction, facial nerve regeneration, and gender-affirming surgery.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include a strong interest in developing a clinical and translational research program suitable for external funding in the area of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
