Description

The Department of Neurology seeks to hire an Assistant Professor in the Investigator track in the Division of Neuroimmuniology. 

The Candidate will develop computational frameworks that leverage multi-modal, multi-dimensional, multi-scale, multi-omic, and clinical time series data to  prevent, and treat Parkinson’s and other neurologic disorders. The candidate will apply existing as well as develop new deep learning algorithms to identify disease mechanisms, biomarkers, drug targets and drugs for these diseases. The candidate will develop and test new prediction models and translate them into clinically useful computational methods.

Qualifications

The Candidate will have a PhD and MD with training as a computational biologist and graduate training in immunology as well as training in neurology and medicine. The applicant will be trained in analyzing single cell RNA seq data with a proven track record in publishing papers in the computational immunology space.. The Candidate will have at least two first-author publications in high impact journals.
