Description
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure Academic Clinician track. We seek applicants with clinical and academic expertise in traumatic brain injury (TBI) neurology.
Qualifications
M.D. or equivalent degree required.
Board certification or eligibility in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Demonstrated expertise in traumatic brain injury neurology.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Commitment to collaborative work within a diverse clinical and academic team.
Teaching Responsibilities
Instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Participation in departmental educational activities, including formal lectures.
Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) clinic at Penn Medicine.
Inpatient TBI consultations within the Penn Medicine system.
Scholarly Opportunities
In addition to clinical duties, the ideal candidate will have interest in scholarly engagement and may contribute to ongoing TBI research studies within the department.
