The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of breast cancer. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include focusing on patients with breast cancer in an outpatient setting at Penn Medicine Radnor (PMR) and/or the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM) as well as attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Participation in clinical trials is an important part of this role.
