The Department of Physics is one of the largest within the Faculty of Science, supporting a broad range of experimental and theoretical research. It employs ~230 staff, including 60 PhD students, many of whom are internationally recruited. The department is part of AlbaNova University Center, alongside the Department of Astronomy, KTH Physics, and the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (Nordita).
Researchers are also part of the Oskar Klein Centre for Cosmoparticle Physics (OKC), which hosts over 100 researchers working in theory and experiment.

Data-intensive methods in fundamental physics, astrophysics, particle physics, and cosmology.
Focus: Method development for data analysis techniques and machine learning applications in fundamental physics and astrophysics.
Conduct research in data-intensive methods for fundamental physics, astrophysics, and cosmology
Participate in teaching and supervision
Collaborate with researchers at OKC, the Department of Astronomy, and KTH Physics
Support initiatives linking high-tech industry, teaching, and research
PhD in Sweden or equivalent degree from another country
