Clinical Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology
The Department of Educational Studies [www.edst.purdue.edu] at Purdue University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position in Educational Psychology to begin in August 2025. The ideal candidate will have pedagogical and scholarly interests in the area of cognition, motivation, learning and/or development in classroom learning environments and the application of research methods in these areas. The Faculty of Educational Psychology and Research Methodology program area are committed to preparing scholars to be leaders in research that addresses significant educational and psychological problems. Our internationally recognized faculty members offer students strong, individualized mentoring and opportunities to develop their skills to design and conduct research. The Educational Psychology program offers a Ph.D. in Educational Studies with a concentration in Educational Psychology and Research Methodology, and a Master of Science with a concentration in Educational Psychology and Research Methodology. Both are residential programs.
The scholar will join a department that has nationally and internationally known faculty engaged in the discovery, application, and dissemination of new knowledge centered on three key themes: Educating Diverse Learners, STEM Learning, and Effective Teaching.
