Combines teaching and administrative leadership in the online AA and BA programs in Applied Psychology
Teaching load: typically 3 courses per semester (2 online, 1 on-campus)
Administrative duties: overseeing program operations, course assignments, student support, and assessment processes
Opportunity for independent scholarship and program development
Successful candidates will:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses (online and on-campus)
Advise students on academics and career planning
Serve on College/University committees
Conduct research in contemporary issues and seek external funding
Supervise graduate student research
Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field (or expected by August 2026)
University teaching experience
Research and publication record
Experience with learning management systems and virtual communication technology
Current professional qualifications, if applicable
Experience teaching statistics at the graduate level
Online Applied Psychology Program:
8-week asynchronous courses, student-centered
Faculty serve as facilitators and mentors, guiding students through discussions and assignments
Involvement in course redevelopment and collaboration with instructional designers
