Start Date: Fall 2026-27 academic year

The Department of Sociology seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of aging. The appointee will:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including in the Health & Society program.
Participate in the Center on Aging & Population Sciences.
Support research, programs, and collaborative projects in aging studies.
Contribute to service within the department, college, and university.
Must have completed all requirements for the PhD by the time of appointment, or expect to obtain the PhD within a year of joining as an Instructor.
Strong potential for research, teaching, and service in the field of aging.
