Position Summary

The Booth School seeks outstanding scholars in Macroeconomics to join its tenure-track faculty. Appointees are expected to conduct research, teach, and contribute to the academic mission of the school.

Note: Candidates who have not completed all PhD requirements by July 1, 2026, may be initially appointed as instructors, with transition to assistant professor expected after completion of the PhD.

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in Economics or related field, or expected completion by July 1, 2026

• Strong research and teaching potential in Macroeconomics
