Position Summary
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking an outstanding clinician scientist for a tenure-track faculty position specializing in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Doctorate or terminal degree is required. Qualified candidates must have an MD or MD/PhD, must have completed an approved subspecialty fellowship and must be board eligible/board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
Candidates with a track record of high-quality scholarly work will be given special consideration. Candidates employing interdisciplinary approaches, including backgrounds in clinical, translational, biomedical informatics, and/or basic science research are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will be expected to work with members of a multidisciplinary team to develop a transformative, funded research program and participate in training of medical students, residents and fellows.
Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and research. Individuals with a background in basic science and/or translational research who have a goal of pursuing a career as a clinician scientist will be most strongly considered.
Startup funding and institutional resources will be made available based on the qualifications and needs of the candidate. Candidates will have access to excellent clinical facilities and resources at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute
