Role & Responsibilities

As the Associate Lecturer/ Lecturer, Early Career Development Fellow (ECDF) you will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School, in the discipline of Psychology.  You will work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on developments in your subject area or specialisation. 

Skills & Experience               

You will have:

  • Evidence of teaching and research expertise in Organisational Psychology, Social Psychology and/or Forensic Psychology
  • An emerging track record for quality research to contribute to the School’s research areas, evidenced by publications, research initiatives, strong funding and industry links
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that improve your ability to work autonomously, and in a team environment
  • Casual teaching in an Australian University within the last three years
  • Registration or eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
  • PhD (Level B) or substantial progress towards a PhD (Level A)

The discipline of Psychology has a focus on the application of psychology to achieve better health outcomes. An important aspect of our clinical program is the practical training that students receive in our multi-disciplinary clinic at University Hill, Bundoora.
