Duties and responsibilities
  • Developing the field of their speciality and teaching at all levels of higher education.
  • Supervising students on all levels of higher education.
  • Developing the curriculum of their speciality and their professional skills.
  • Participating or initiating and directing in the development and research activities of the institute, applying for funding for projects and managing them.
  • Participating in committees and decision-making bodies of the institute and university.
  • Popularisation of the specialisation.

Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
  • Candidates must be qualified to teach the subjects of their speciality on all levels of higher education and conduct teaching and research activities in their field.
  • They are expected to have experience of teaching in higher education and supervising students.
  • They are expected to conduct internationally recognised research in the field of personality and health psychology and applying for funding and executing scientific projects successfully.
Required language skills
Fluent in Estonian and English.
