Teaching:
Apply research results in teaching, especially supervising MSc and PhD students
Deliver lectures or other teaching activities for MSc/PhD programmes
Supervise and examine theses and dissertations
Serve as guarantor of study programmes or member of doctoral advisory boards
Participate in committees for doctoral state exams, dissertation defenses, final exams, and habilitation/professorial committees
Contribute to publication activities for educational purposes
Research:
Conduct fundamental or applied research in the field
Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and academic monographs
Present research at national and international conferences
Perform review/expert evaluation activities for research projects
Other Responsibilities:
Perform operational and administrative duties, including course management, e-learning tools, and communication with students
Organize and participate in international mobility programmes for students and staff
Promote the field within the university and externally
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
Appointment as Associate Professor
Specialization in pharmacognosy (required)
International publications and successful grant-funded research experience
Minimum 10 years professional experience
Language Skills:
English proficiency (C1/C2)
Excellent command of Czech (spoken and written)
Job-related Competencies:
Advanced presentation, teaching, and mentoring skills
Ability to transfer research into teaching practice
Ability to independently lead research projects
Ability to publish scholarly work and present results to international audiences
Precision, responsibility, reliability
