Civil servant status is initially granted for three years. Following a positive job evaluation, civil servant status is extended for another three years.

Candidates should have expertise in the area of aesthetic education / media didactics (film didactics, theater didactics, acoustic and / or visual media didactics) with a focus on German as a teaching degree subject.

The prospective appointee seeks to be taught in the subject German (for primary and all secondary school forms), to participate in media and literary didactic research self-administration.

To be considered a teaching degree in German studies / German and a doctoral degree in German studies. Furthermore, as a university professor. Candidates should substantiate their ability to conduct media / literary didactic research with relevant publications.
