Summary Description

As an Associate Research Scientist, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of high-resolution data for research studies. The laboratory is focused on understanding acute disorders of consciousness and utilizes a number of physiologic data streams including but not limited to EEG, vital signs, and behavior.

Data preparation will include implementing real-time processing algorithms on the IBM streaming analytic platform as well as working with archived data repositories stored in standard EEG file formats, compressed binary files, or MS SQL databases. You will be taking the lead on your own projects and develop a research portfolio. You will also assist others in the team as needed with studies that depend on complex data querying from MS SQL databases and applying standard and advanced biostatistics. You will supervise a junior data manager and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of principal investigators and research coordinators, managing translational and clinical research projects through all stages.
