The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) and University of Washington (UW) are recruiting a full-time clinical faculty position dedicated to the care of patients with myeloid malignancies and other plasma cell disorders. The position will be primarily based at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which is the outpatient setting for oncology care for the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The position would be at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level, commensurate with experience, in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology. This is a full-time (100% FTE) annual appointment with a service period of 12 months. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Anticipated start date is 9/1/19.
Applicants are required to have a M.D. (or foreign equivalent) and be board-eligible for oncology or hematology (or foreign equivalent).
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
