Position Description

The Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (AID) in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position. This position will be at the Clinical Assistant Professor level, and will have clinical and teaching components. This position has an annual service period of 12-months [July 1-June 30] and is anticipated to start in July 2021.

The successful candidate will take on a clinical faculty position in the UW Allergy and Immunology clinics, providing care for adult and pediatric patients with a broad range of allergic and immunologic diseases. The duties of this position include primarily clinical care, but also teaching and mentoring of Allergy and Immunology fellows and Internal Medicine residents. University of Washington faculty engage in clinical, teaching, and research activities.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a MD (or foreign equivalent) and be board eligible/ board certified in Allergy and Immunology (or foreign equivalent). In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S,) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
