Applications are invited for a Clinical Lecturer in Neurology, Department of Clinical Neurosciences, to do translational research in multiple sclerosis.

Applicants should be medically qualified, have full GMC registration, and an existing NTN/NTN(A) in Neurology. You are required to hold or have submitted a PhD/DPhil/MD at the time of your application, and be of the standing required for an appropriate honorary contract of service with the NHS LETB (specialist trainee/LETB).

Candidates who have not submitted their PhD/MD at the time of application will not be considered.

The offer will be subject to the confirmation of the PhD/MD before commencement in post.

This is a fixed term appointment for a maximum of 4 years or until you obtain CCT (subject to any extension that you may apply for and be granted, which can be for a maximum of 12 months).

Salary Scales

£35,155pa - £62,179pa StR

£34,563pa - £59,845pa SpR

£39,467pa - £53,077pa Nodal (ST3 and above)

This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract. This is an integrated appointment between the University and relevant NHS Trust / Body. You will therefore also be issued with an Honorary Clinical Contract by the NHS Trust. You should be aware that if your contract with the NHS Trust is terminated your employment with the University will be terminated, and vice versa.
