The University of California, Irvine Department of Otolaryngology -Head and Neck Surgery is seeking an academic Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to join our expanding department in the Clinical X Professor Series at the assistant, associate or professor rank. The successful candidate will be trained and experienced in all aspects of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery with a commitment to excellent patient care, teaching excellence, academic service and demonstrated scholarly work. Comprehensive training and experience includes aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, facial nerve paralysis treatment, moh's reconstructive surgery, microvascular surgery, trauma reconstruction and aesthetic surgery. Academic rank will be based on training, experience, and academic contributions. Applicants must possess an M.D. or equivalent Degree, board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and have completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will actively participate in the departmental teaching mission and provide excellent patient care, perform university and public service, and be active in research.
