The Continuing and Professional Education Directorate invites applications for the CPE Coordinator position.
Your Commitment
Reporting to the Head, Program Delivery, Continuing and Professional Education Directorate, the successful candidate will perform professional level duties relating to the district-wide curriculum for training courses under the supervision of management by coordinating the curriculum creation and approval process. Advise trainers and business units on curriculum requirements; overall implementation of training proposals. Serve as the key resource for curriculum development and approval training. Maintain educational standards in accordance with UDST guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will act as a liaison and resource for curricular requirements to trainers, instructors, staff, management, and external representatives. Collaborate with professors, staff, and management to advise and ensure curricular development matches with UDST's strategic needs and complies with UDST's regulations and standards.
The successful candidate will consult with and advise faculty on curriculum planning and design in accordance with UDST and training goals. At the same time, provide main assistance for the certificate process, including course proposals, review of submitted proposals, and comments to submitting faculty and committees. Collaborate with the Head of Program Delivery and other teams to ensure that training materials, course technical specifications, software system requirements, and compliance problems are met.
The successful candidate will assist and facilitate curriculum creation at the center. Help the center with new program development and program alignment with UDST policies and strategy. Similarly, assist the center's management in the development of new programs, including feasibility, quality, impact assessments, and sector strategies.
The successful candidate will work with internal and external subject matter experts, as well as local and national data sources. Correspondingly, coordinate both the internal and external approval processes for degrees and certificates.
The successful candidate will act as a liaison to internal business divisions by participating in work groups and task forces, attending trainings, and obtaining electronic information to share with others at UDST.
The successful candidate will analyze and respond to inquiries and requests for information from staff, administration, students, the community, and other colleges about the curriculum process and curriculum challenges. Coordination of the development and distribution of various reports and publications for UDST, as well as their usage and access by other institutions and organizations.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, business or related experience.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
Language
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is required
Fluency in written and spoken English language is preferred
Other Required Skills
Service excellence, time management, and teamwork and collaborative working behavioral competencies are required with Technical Competencies in curriculum planning and pedagogy.
