Your Role
  • Developing and conducting innovative research in the field of empirical educational research, intervention studies, and computer-based assessment
  • Self-contained research targeted at receiving a PhD in Psychology (cumulative; i.e. based on peer-reviewed publications)
  • National and international data collection and management at participating institutions
  • Communicating with partners and independent instruction of student assistants
  • Administrative responsibilities within the project and the research group
  • Publications (in English-speaking peer reviewed journals and at scientific conferences)

Your Profile
  • Excellent Masters degree (or equivalent) in Psychology or a related field
  • Good knowledge of and interest in quantitative methods and test theory (e.g., SPSS, MPlus, ConQuest)
  • Willingness to travel internationally and excellent English in speech and writing. Knowledge of additional foreign languages is welcome but not mandatory
  • Involvement into teaching to a very limited extent
  • Ability to work independently, strong personal commitment, ability to work under pressure, communication & cooperation skills, administrative skills, creativity, determination
  • Last but not least enthusiasm about, above average commitment for, and enjoyment in research and science
