The Professorship for Economics of Innovation at the TUM School of Management invites applications for a position as a Doctoral Researcher (Wissenschaftliche(r) Mitarbeiter/in). The successful candidate will be enrolled in the PhD Program of the TUM School of Management and will conduct independent research under supervision of Prof. Dr. Hanna Hottenrott.

Employment is offered for (initially) two years with the possibility of an extension according to the public service collective agreement of Bavaria (TV-L level E13, years 1 and 2: 75%, as of year 3: 100% FTE). The position offers an excellent environment for conducting research, including travel funds. The candidate will be involved in teaching and research. Expected starting date is September 1st 2019. Candidates should be keen to do empirical research in applied economics and have successfully finished studies (or are going to do so in the near future) with a focus on economics, management, industrial engineering or business informatics with an outstanding degree. Excellent grades and sound knowledge of microeconomics, econometrics and statistics are an advantage. Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary. Programming skills (R, Stata, Python) are an advantage.
