Doctoral students (PhD) (m/f/d)

We at the Institute for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology are looking for new doctoral students. The institute is part of the University of Freiburg und is administered by the university hospital. We are an international team, who studies the actin nucleoskeleton in genome organisation, nuclear signaling and mitosis. We are a fully equipped department using high resolution live cell imaging and image data analysis as well as atomic force microscopy combined with biochemical and molecular technologies. Our group is part of the CIBSS Cluster of Excellence and therefore receives numerous funding.

Our requirements are:

  • a Master's degree or a comparable degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or biophysics
  • Experience and knowledge of biochemical techniques
  • very good English skills
  • Motivation, dependability and a sense of responsibility
  • a high degree of willingness to work in a team

The position is limited to 3 years. The salary will be determined in accordance with the salary group E13 TV-L. The weekly work hours are 65%.
