KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key centre of intellectual talent and innovation. We are Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world. Our research and education covers a wide area including natural sciences and all branches of engineering, as well as architecture, industrial management, urban planning, history and philosophy.
Third-cycle subject: Electrical Engineering
In this project we aim at developing an understanding of the vulnerabilities of multi-agent networked systems and their impact, through addressing fundamental problems related to finding equilibria and equilibrium performance under adversarial behavior. We will develop models of the interaction between adversarial and benign autonomous nodes, and will develop computationally tractable game theoretical models for analyzing various learning algorithms and the emergence of equilibria in the presence of adversarial behavior. Finally, we will use the developed models for the design of topologies and learning algorithms that are resilient to adversarial behavior and allow to reach good equilibrium performance.
