The graduate school ReSource takes its starting point in the current transformation of information. With this transformation, the ways in which people read and evaluate sources are changing. ReSource aims to explore informational reading  and source criticism through analyses of the interplay between 1) commercial information infrastructures; 2) societal institutions; and 3) the demands placed on people in different roles. ReSource gathers all library and information studies departments in Sweden. The applicants' research plans must be formulated within the framework of the research school's themes.

The graduate school includes four different themes:

  • (Dis/mis)information, changing information infrastructures, and source criticism
  • Current and historical informational reading practices
  • Libraries as institutional settings for promoting informational reading and source criticism
  • The credibility and trustworthiness crisis of research
