The Institute of Biochemistry at the University of Münster (WWU), Germany, is seeking to fill the position of a

Doctoral Research Associate
Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in
(salary level TV-L E 13, 65%)

commencing on 1 September 2021. We are offering a fixed-term part-time position (65 %) for 3 years.

Your tasks:

  • this position is tied to working towards a doctorate
  • your research will focus on structural biology, biochemistry and cell biology studies that investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the function of the TSC (tuberous sclerosis complex) tumor suppressor complex
  • collaboration in research and teaching
  • undertaking independent research

Our expectations:

  •  a master’s degree or equivalent in the natural sciences
  •  a background in biochemistry or a related discipline is advantageous
