Tasks

The committed person:

  • will lead a doctoral thesis in biomedical sciences within the Research Unit in Molecular Physiology, in co-direction with Pr. JADOT and BOONEN. The thesis will be in the field of "Functions and lysosomal dysfunctions";
  • will provide teaching duties in the MBIMB150 (Medicine), MBIMB250 (Medicine), SMEDB202 (Veterinary), MBIMB301 (Biomedical Sciences), MBIMB304 (Biomedical Sciences) teaching units.

 

Profile

Diploma

Those who apply will hold a master degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a degree in Medicine or Veterinary Medicine.

Skills and qualities required :

  • Good knowledge of biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and related laboratory techniques,
  • Interest in basic research,
  • Critical and synthesis spirit, scientific rigor,
  • Eager to achieve rapid autonomy in the planning and execution of experiments,
  • To teach the above subjects in French,
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English.

Will be considered additional assets :

  • Good team spirit,
  • Teaching experience,
  • Laboratory experience,
  • Mastery of computer programs Excel, Word, Power Point.
