Position Summary
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for an Open Rank Gastroenterologist with expertise in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Duties include, but are not limited advanced endoscopic procedures, procedures, clinic visits, inpatient consultation service. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Will participate in outreach activities to increase program presence in neighboring Wake County. An interest in clinical research and teaching is desirable. Candidate will be active in training of GI and Hepatology fellows, residents and medical students. Candidate must be MD, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Educational Requirements
MD degree, Board certified/Board eligible in Gastroenterology.
Qualifications and Experience
Proficiency in management of inflammatory bowel diseases via clinical experience or advanced IBD fellowship.
At least three years of gastroenterology and training. Good communication and organizational skills with clinical education and/or research interest.
