The Doheny Eye Institute and UCLA Department of Ophthalmology are seeking applications for a specialist in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Duties of the faculty position would entail clinical care, teaching of ophthalmology residents and fellows, and research at the Doheny Eye Institute. Expertise in the vitreoretinal surgical field is required. Further, the Search Committee also seeks candidates committed to contributions to equity, diversity and inclusion, and we welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and/or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. The candidate must have an MD and be eligible for American Board of Ophthalmology certification and a regular physician/surgeon medical license in California.
