The Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada invites applications for a full-time probationary (tenure-track) appointment at the rank of Instructor in Environmental Management. The Faculty provides undergraduate and graduate education in a wide range of environmental management areas related to wildlife, water, forestry, climate change, policy, and others. The successful candidate will teach within the Faculty's undergraduate and graduate programs, and enhance Faculty governance through positive, constructive, and collegial engagement in Faculty affairs.

Candidates must have a master's degree in an environmental field of study and have a strong background in some of the following areas: environmental policy (e.g., climate change, wildlife, water, forest), environmental assessment (risk, EMS, EIA, site, lifecycle, etc.), and environmental project management. Demonstrated or potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is also required. Experience in leading environmental projects with a diverse set of stakeholders would be an asset.

The Faculty is more than 100 years old, offers seven degree programs in forestry and environmental management disciplines, has approximately 300 undergraduate and 90 graduate students, and 18 full-time faculty members (see www.unb.ca/fredericton/forestry for more information).
