Position Overview

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position of Instructor of the First Department of Dermatovenerology with shorter working hours (4–8 hours per week).

The department is a joint workplace of the Medical Faculty of MU and the University Hospital at St. Anny in Brno. It carries out educational, scientific, and research activities, primarily providing practical training in medical and other health disciplines. Scope of Work

  • Participation in theoretical and practical teaching at the workplace

  • Preparation of study and teaching materials

  • Involvement in research and development activities, including publication and presentation of research results

  • Contribution to the organizational provision of research and pedagogical activities, including related administration


Required Qualifications

  • Completed university education in the medical field (MD) or equivalent education attained abroad

  • Capability for professional and research work, including publishing activities

  • Capability to actively participate in international conferences or professional seminars

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

  • Fluent Czech (spoken and written)

  • Active approach, initiative, and willingness for further education

  • Moral integrity

Note: Inclusion in the position of instructor/assistant professor requires an employment relationship with the relevant hospital.
